Papers of the Walker family, 1902-1941.

The collection contains "The Virginia Descendants of Edward Walker," a genealogy by Virginia Walker Taliaferro, of this Welchman who arrived in Virginia in 1720; recollections of Fanny Walker Aglionby relating to her childhood in Madison County, Va. and Orange Court House including references to James Madison, Lafayette's visit to Orange Court House, and other personalities and homes. The collection also contains a letter from Jeannette Aglionby to David A. Shepherd offering further recollections of the family.
